Yes. Your quote is based on the information you provided online or over the phone. As long as you gave accurate information (such as weight, dimensions, and location types,) your quote should be complete and accurate, and will include the fuel surcharge.
Quotes are subject to change if the weight, classification, or other characteristics of the shipment change from how they are described on the order confirmation.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Please pay by clicking the payment link included in your email.
Try shipping from a business instead of a residence. If your quote included a liftgate, try to find a business with a loading dock or forklift to ship from instead.
Weight is a factor in freight pricing. It is best to weigh your items or ask for the weight from your seller.
If you have no way to weigh your goods, we will quote with your best estimate. (Tip: If you are buying equipment online, you may be able to check the manufacturer’s website for a published weight.) Typically, 20 pounds or less affects rates very little, if at all.
If your overall weight is much higher than your quoted estimate, we will notify you if additional charges apply. (Unfortunately, our carriers do not pro-rate for lower weights.)
It is essential that you provide accurate dimensions to us before booking, especially if the freight is not on standard 48×40 inch pallets. Please measure your freight or request exact measurements from the seller.
A terminal is a location from which the carrier receives and sends freight. It is similar to an airport terminal, but it is used for freight. Sometimes our customers prefer to drop off freight directly to the carrier’s terminal to avoid a residential pickup or liftgate fee.
Freight class is a tool used by the freight industry to price shipments based on the average density, stowability, ease of handling, and liability of the type of goods. Classes are determined by the NMFTA board and revised from year to year. We typically check freight classes before quoting to ensure you an accurate rate.
